Outstanding performance
Cagliari•AttackerSassuolo completed a hard-fought comeback victory at home, overturning an early deficit to secure all three points against Cagliari. The visitors took the lead through Sebastiano Esposito's penalty after Jay Idzes was penalized for handball, but Sassuolo responded brilliantly in the second half. Ulisses Garcia's stunning long-range effort from a corner sequence brought the hosts level, before Andrea Pinamonti's clinical finish from Darryl Bakola's assist secured the winner with 12 minutes remaining. Despite being evenly matched in possession and shots, Sassuolo's superior finishing proved decisive, converting two of their nine attempts compared to Cagliari's wasteful display that saw them miss two big chances from 11 shots.
