Outstanding performance
Atalanta•GoalkeeperRoma dominated possession and created far more chances but had to settle for a draw against clinical Atalanta at the Stadio Olimpico. Nikola Krstović gave the visitors an early lead with a stunning strike from outside the box, but Mario Hermoso's equalizer just before halftime rescued a point for the Giallorossi. Despite Roma's territorial advantage - registering 19 shots to Atalanta's 8 and forcing 8 saves from the visiting goalkeeper - they were wasteful in front of goal, missing three big chances that could have secured victory. This result maintains both teams' mid-table positions, with Roma's impressive attacking display undermined by poor finishing.
