Outstanding performance
Korona Kielce•DefenderKorona Kielce secured a crucial 2-1 victory over Nieciecza in what proved to be a match defined by clinical finishing in a brief seven-minute spell. Marcel Pieczek broke the deadlock just before halftime, and Konstantinos Sotiriou doubled the advantage early in the second half to put the hosts in complete control. However, Nieciecza refused to fold and Ivan Durdov's response goal set up a tense final half-hour, with both managers making multiple substitutions to influence the outcome. The victory strengthens Korona's position in the upper reaches of the Ekstraklasa table, while Nieciecza will rue their inability to build on Durdov's strike despite showing real character in the closing stages.
