Vukovar
Vukovar pulled off a stunning comeback victory against dominant Istra 1961, winning 2-1 despite being thoroughly outplayed for most of the match. Jakov Puljic was the hero for the visitors, converting a 75th-minute penalty to complete the turnaround after his earlier booking. Istra controlled proceedings with 72% possession and 17 shots to Vukovar's 8, creating five big chances but wastefully missing four of them. Despite Vinko Rozic giving the home side an early lead and their overwhelming territorial dominance, Simun Butic's equalizer kept Vukovar in the contest before Puljic's spot-kick sealed a vital three points that could prove crucial in their battle for league positioning.
