A thrilling encounter at Turf Moor saw Tottenham twice take the lead only to be pegged back by a resilient Burnley side. Spurs dominated the first half through Micky van de Ven's opener, but Axel Tuanzebe's equalizer on the stroke of halftime shifted momentum. Substitute Lyle Foster looked to have secured all three points for the Clarets with a well-taken goal on 76 minutes, but Cristian Romero's dramatic equalizer in the 90th minute ensured the spoils were shared. The result maintains Tottenham's mid-table position while giving Burnley a valuable point in their fight for Premier League survival.
Tottenham travel to Turf Moor looking to build on their midweek Champions League victory over Dortmund, while relegation-threatened Burnley desperately need points in their survival battle. Despite a crippling injury crisis, Spurs remain strong favorites against the 19th-placed Clarets.
