Outstanding performance
Tottenham Hotspur•DefenderBrighton dominated possession with 58% but were made to pay for their profligacy in front of goal, surrendering a two-goal lead in the final 15 minutes. Spurs showed clinical finishing despite creating fewer chances, with Pedro Porro's header and Xavi Simons' spectacular strike from outside the box putting them in control. However, Brighton's persistence paid off as substitute Georginio Rutter salvaged a dramatic point with a perfectly placed finish in the 90th minute, capping off a frantic finale that saw both sides create multiple big chances but waste equally as many.
