Hearts secured a narrow but crucial 1-0 victory over Falkirk thanks to Islam Chesnokov's perfectly-timed strike on the stroke of half-time. The match appeared evenly contested in the opening 45 minutes before Chesnokov's intervention gave Hearts the decisive edge. The second half proved significantly more eventful with three key moments that could have swung the tie either way, but Hearts' defense held firm to preserve their slender advantage. This vital three points will boost Hearts' confidence as they look to climb the Premiership table, while Falkirk will rue missed opportunities in what was clearly a competitive encounter between two well-matched sides.
