Aberdeen appeared to be heading for a crucial victory when Kevin Nisbet broke the deadlock in the 73rd minute, but Falkirk's persistence paid off as Barney Stewart snatched a dramatic equaliser with just a minute remaining. The Dons made wholesale changes on the hour mark, bringing on Palaversa, Olusanya and Cameron in a tactical reshuffle that initially seemed to work when Nisbet found the net. However, Aberdeen's inability to close out the game will frustrate manager as they dropped two valuable points at home. The draw maintains both sides' mid-table positions, with Falkirk showing admirable character to rescue a point after falling behind late in the contest.
