Akron
Akhmat Grozny
Akhmat Grozny looked set for a crucial away victory after Georgiy Melkadze's 27th-minute opener, but their numerical advantage following Ismael Silva's second yellow card proved short-lived. Despite playing with ten men for over 40 minutes, Akron showed remarkable resilience and found their equalizer through veteran striker Artem Dzyuba with just six minutes remaining. The result maintains both teams' mid-table positions, with Akron's late show potentially serving as a turning point in their inconsistent campaign while Akhmat will rue their inability to capitalize on the man advantage.
