FK Nizjni Novgorod delivered a commanding performance to secure a comprehensive 3-0 victory over Krylya Sovetov, with the result effectively decided before halftime. The hosts took control through Olakunle Olusegun's penalty conversion in the 29th minute following Gonzalo Requena's foul, before Luka Tičić doubled the advantage just before the break. Krylya Sovetov's frustrations were evident throughout, making multiple substitutions in an attempt to salvage something from the match, but substitute Daniil Lesovoy put the result beyond doubt with a third goal in stoppage time.
