Outstanding performance
Gent•AttackerGent secured a comfortable 2-0 victory over struggling Zulte-Waregem to maintain their push for European qualification. Max Dean broke the deadlock seven minutes before halftime with a well-taken finish, capitalizing on Gent's sustained pressure in the opening period. The hosts controlled proceedings throughout, with their dominance rewarded in the second half when Wilfried Kanga converted from the penalty spot midway through the period. Zulte-Waregem's disappointing display was compounded by multiple bookings and tactical adjustments that failed to spark any meaningful response, leaving them further adrift in the relegation battle.
