3 – 1
Did it deliver?
PSV mounted an impressive comeback after falling behind early to Lasse Nordås' clinical opener for Heerenveen. The hosts' response was swift and decisive - Ivan Perišić leveled just before halftime with a superb long-range effort, before Myron Boadu capitalized on a lightning counter-attack just three minutes after the restart to complete the turnaround. Substitute Ricardo Pepi sealed the victory late on, capping a dominant second-half display that saw PSV control proceedings after their slow start. The result maintains PSV's strong position in the Eredivisie table while Heerenveen will rue their inability to build on such a promising opening.
