Almere City secured a comfortable 2-0 victory over De Graafschap in what proved to be a tactically disciplined performance at home. The hosts controlled proceedings for much of the match but had to wait until the second half to break the deadlock, with Junior Kadile's 61st-minute opener finally rewarding their patient build-up play. Emmanuel Poku's late strike in the 90th minute sealed the points and capped off an impressive individual display. This victory will provide a crucial boost for Almere City's mid-table position, while De Graafschap's struggles on the road continue to hamper their season progress.
Almere City look to bounce back from their KNVB Beker disappointment when they host De Graafschap at the compact Yanmar Stadion. Both teams have been involved in high-scoring affairs lately, with defensive vulnerabilities on both sides promising an entertaining encounter.
