TOP Oss claimed a crucial away victory at Roda JC Kerkrade through shrewd tactical adjustments and clinical finishing in the final quarter. After falling behind to Anthony van den Hurk's 52nd-minute opener, TOP Oss responded with a flurry of substitutions that transformed the match dynamics. Substitute Maurilio de Lannoy proved the catalyst, equalizing just 13 minutes after his introduction before Lucas Beerten's unfortunate own goal completed the turnaround. The victory lifts TOP Oss' league position significantly while leaving Roda JC to rue their inability to see out a home advantage, with the early substitution of Jerome Deom potentially disrupting their rhythm.
