VVV-Venlo rescued a dramatic point in the dying moments of this heated Eerste Divisie encounter, with Philip Heise's 90th-minute equalizer canceling out Tijmen Wildeboer's second-half opener for TOP Oss. The match turned increasingly fractious as it wore on, with Dean Zandbergen receiving his marching orders for a second yellow card just minutes before Heise's crucial intervention. Both sides made wholesale changes in the second half as tensions boiled over, but it was the home side who benefited most from their substitutions as Heise emerged as the hero. The point keeps both teams in the thick of the Eerste Divisie promotion race, though TOP Oss will feel they let two valuable points slip through their fingers.
