FC Den Bosch looked to be cruising to victory after goals from Kévin Monzialo and Teun van Grunsven established a commanding 2-0 lead by the half-hour mark. However, Roda JC's second-half substitutions proved decisive, with Michael Breij pulling one back in the 75th minute before substitute Tomas Kalinauskas completed a dramatic comeback just four minutes later. The draw sees both teams remain locked in mid-table mediocrity, with Den Bosch unable to capitalize on their early dominance and Roda showing impressive resilience to rescue a point from what seemed a lost cause.
