Outstanding performance
Stoke City•MidfielderStoke City produced a clinical display to see off Sheffield Wednesday 2-0 at the bet365 Stadium, with Jesurun Rak-Sakyi and Lamine Cissé providing the crucial goals. The Potters were efficient on the break, converting just six shots on target into two goals while Wednesday struggled to test Gavin Bazunu despite enjoying 52% possession and registering 16 shots. Sorba Thomas was instrumental in both goals, providing assists as Stoke capitalized on Wednesday's attacking ambitions. The result continues Stoke's solid home form and leaves Sheffield Wednesday frustrated after dominating territory but lacking the cutting edge in the final third.
