Wycombe Wanderers
Wycombe Wanderers claimed a crucial away victory at Oakwell through Aaron Morley's decisive strike just before the hour mark. The midfielder's goal proved to be the difference in what became an increasingly fractious encounter, with both sides picking up multiple bookings as Barnsley desperately sought an equaliser. The Tykes threw everything forward in the closing stages, introducing fresh legs through Cauley Woodrow and Tom Bradshaw, but Wycombe's disciplined defensive display held firm despite some nervous moments. This result sees Wanderers climb the League One table while Barnsley's inconsistent home form continues to hamper their promotion aspirations.
