Plymouth Argyle
Cardiff City
Plymouth Argyle produced a stunning attacking display to thrash Cardiff City 7-2 in what became an absolute goal-fest at Home Park. Aribim Pepple was the standout performer with a first-half brace, while Lorent Tolaj contributed a goal and penalty to cap off a dominant showing. Despite Omari Kellyman's impressive double for Cardiff keeping them in contention during a frantic first half, Plymouth's relentless attacking proved too much. This emphatic victory will give Plymouth significant momentum in their League One campaign, while Cardiff must quickly regroup from this defensive capitulation that saw them concede five goals and pick up numerous bookings in a ill-disciplined performance.
