Mansfield Town rescued a dramatic point against Barnsley in a thrilling encounter that saw the visitors throw away a commanding two-goal lead. David McGoldrick and Scott Banks had put Barnsley in complete control with clinical finishes, but the Stags showed tremendous character to fight back. Lucas Akins converted from the penalty spot to halve the deficit before S. McLaughlin's last-gasp equalizer completed a remarkable turnaround. The result keeps both sides in mid-table mediocrity, but Mansfield will take huge confidence from their resilience while Barnsley will rue their inability to see out what looked like a comfortable victory.
