Doncaster Rovers claimed a crucial away victory at Barnsley through Elliot Lee's 65th-minute penalty, maintaining their promotion push in League One. The match was a cagey affair with neither side creating clear-cut chances until O'Keeffe's foul in the box handed Rovers the decisive moment. Lee stepped up confidently to convert from the spot, giving Doncaster their first real breakthrough in what had been a tight contest. The result keeps Doncaster well-positioned in the league table while leaving Barnsley frustrated at home, with both teams showing the physical intensity expected in this local rivalry through four yellow cards and late-game tensions.
