Luton Town were left frustrated as they dropped two crucial points in their League One promotion push, allowing Stockport County to snatch a late equaliser at Kenilworth Road. The Hatters dominated the first half and took a deserved lead through Emilio Lawrence's 28th-minute strike, but their failure to convert chances came back to haunt them when Oliver Norwood levelled with just 12 minutes remaining. Both managers made multiple changes in the second half as the game became increasingly stretched, with Luton's Ben Osborn picking up an early booking and Ali Al-Hamadi cautioned shortly after his introduction. The draw maintains Luton's position in the promotion race but represents a missed opportunity to put distance between themselves and their nearest rivals.
