Bristol Rovers secured a professional away victory at Barrow with two well-taken goals either side of half-time. Tommy Leigh broke the deadlock in the 27th minute to give the Gas a crucial advantage, before Fabrizio Cavegn doubled the lead early in the second half to put the result beyond doubt. Barrow's early substitution of Lewis Shipley just before the break suggested tactical struggles, and despite bringing on fresh legs with Danny Rose and Tyler Walker, they couldn't find a way past a resolute Bristol Rovers defence. This victory will boost Rovers' confidence and league position, while Barrow will need to regroup quickly to arrest their poor form.
