Barnet
Salford City secured a crucial 2-0 victory over Barnet that could prove pivotal in their League Two survival fight. The Ammies took control before halftime with goals from Rosaire Longelo and Matt Butcher, establishing a commanding lead that they never looked like relinquishing. Both managers made extensive changes in the second half, with Salford introducing quality from the bench including former Premier League striker Britt Assombalonga and veteran Fabio Borini to see out the result professionally. This victory provides vital breathing space for Salford in their battle against relegation, while Barnet will be disappointed to leave empty-handed after failing to create sufficient chances to trouble the home side's defence.
