Swindon Town
Swindon Town snatched a dramatic late victory at Tranmere Rovers through Junior Hoilett's 90th-minute winner, capitalizing on what had been a largely even contest. The Canadian forward, introduced as a substitute in the 67th minute, proved to be the difference-maker as he found the net with virtually the last kick of the game. Both managers made multiple changes throughout the second half as they searched for the breakthrough, with Nigel Adkins' tactical gamble to bring on Hoilett ultimately paying dividends. This crucial three points will boost Swindon's League Two campaign significantly, while Tranmere will rue their inability to capitalize on home advantage in what was a closely-fought encounter that looked destined for a goalless draw.
