Outstanding performance
VfB Stuttgart•MidfielderBorussia Dortmund stunned Stuttgart with two goals in the dying moments to snatch a dramatic 2-0 victory at the Mercedes-Benz Arena. Despite controlling 67% possession and creating 67 dangerous attacks to Dortmund's 16, Stuttgart were left to rue their wastefulness in front of goal. The home side dominated proceedings but failed to convert any of their 13 shots, while Dortmund showed clinical efficiency with 3 shots on target from just 5 attempts. Karim Adeyemi opened the scoring in the 90th minute after coming on as a substitute, before Julian Brandt sealed the victory moments later, completing a smash-and-grab raid that lifted Dortmund's away form and left Stuttgart wondering how they let this one slip away.
