Outstanding performance
SpVgg Greuther Fürth•AttackerGreuther Fürth secured a crucial victory in their promotion push, overcoming an early setback to claim all three points against Bielefeld. After Hrgota's opener was quickly cancelled out by Knoche's equalizer, Dennis Srbeny proved to be the match-winner with his 53rd-minute strike that ultimately decided the contest. The home side showed resilience and tactical discipline to maintain their advantage in the second half, despite Bielefeld's attempts to find an equalizer. This result strengthens Fürth's position in the upper reaches of the 2. Bundesliga table and continues their solid home form, while Bielefeld will rue missed opportunities to take points from a direct competitor.
