Outstanding performance
Troyes•MidfielderTroyes pulled off a remarkable second-half comeback to edge Pau 4-3 in a thrilling Ligue 2 encounter that had major implications for the title race. After falling 2-0 behind to goals from Cheikh Fall and Giovani Versini, Troyes showed tremendous character to level before the break through Tawfik Bentayeb's penalty and Mathys Detourbet's equalizer. The hosts completed their turnaround in the second half with two more goals to secure all three points. This victory keeps Troyes firmly in the promotion hunt, while Pau will rue their inability to hold onto a commanding early advantage that could have eased their own relegation concerns.
