Outstanding performance
Annecy•MidfielderAnnecy delivered a comprehensive performance to dismantle Nancy 5-1 at home, with clinical finishing proving the difference despite relatively even possession (51-49%). Moïse Sahi Dion and Clément Billemaz each scored twice in the opening hour to establish complete control, capitalizing on Annecy's superior conversion rate - eight shots on target from 16 attempts compared to Nancy's wasteful one from eight. The visitors' dominance showed in the statistics, creating six big chances while limiting Nancy to just one, with their 77% pass accuracy reflecting better ball retention in crucial areas. This emphatic victory strengthens Annecy's position in Ligue 2, while Nancy's defensive frailties and lack of cutting edge in attack will concern management as they look to bounce back from this heavy defeat.
