Zlín delivered a comprehensive 3-0 victory over Viktoria Plzeň in what became a statement performance at home. Tomas Poznar set the tone with an early third-minute opener, putting the hosts immediately on the front foot. The match was effectively decided by substitute Michal Cupak, who made an instant impact after coming on in the 67th minute, scoring twice in nine minutes to seal a dominant display. With Plzeň making wholesale changes at half-time and again on 65 minutes, their tactical adjustments failed to stem the tide as Zlín controlled proceedings throughout.
