Burgos secured a crucial away victory at Real Zaragoza through Kévin Appin's second-half strike, capitalizing on their earlier first-half opportunity to break the deadlock in the 66th minute. The match was a cagey affair with both sides struggling to create clear-cut chances, evidenced by the flurry of substitutions from both managers as they sought to find the breakthrough. Zaragoza's inability to convert their home advantage into meaningful attacking threat proved costly, as Burgos maintained their defensive discipline while showing clinical finishing when their moment arrived. This result strengthens Burgos's position in the La Liga 2 table while leaving Zaragoza to rue missed opportunities in what could prove pivotal in the promotion race.
