Outstanding performance
SD Eibar•AttackerEibar dominated this crucial La Liga 2 encounter through the inspired performance of Javi Martón, whose brace proved decisive after Las Palmas had briefly leveled proceedings. The Basque side took an early lead through Ander Madariaga, only to see Manu Fuster equalize within a minute, setting up what appeared to be a competitive affair. However, Martón seized control with two well-taken goals before halftime, capitalizing on Eibar's superior pressing game and Las Palmas' defensive frailties. This victory maintains Eibar's push for promotion contention, while Las Palmas' inconsistent away form continues to hamper their own second-tier ambitions.
