Outstanding performance
Granada•AttackerAlbacete delivered a masterclass in clinical finishing to demolish Granada 4-1 at home, despite being heavily outplayed in terms of possession and territory. Granada dominated the ball with 73% possession and created more dangerous attacks, but were punished ruthlessly by an Albacete side that made every chance count. Jonathan Gómez and Lluís López gave the hosts a dream start with two goals in the opening 15 minutes, and although Gonzalo Petit briefly threatened a Granada comeback after the break, Samuel Obeng Gyabaa's immediate response and José Carlos Lazo's late strike sealed a comprehensive victory that will significantly boost Albacete's La Liga 2 survival hopes.
