Csikszereda secured a vital 2-1 victory over Hermannstadt in a pulsating encounter that saw all three goals scored within the opening 38 minutes. Attila Csuros opened the scoring for the hosts with a well-taken finish in the 17th minute, before Aurelian Chițu leveled proceedings for the visitors just past the half-hour mark. The decisive moment came through Răzvan Alin Trif, who restored Csikszereda's advantage just seven minutes later with what proved to be the winner. Despite both managers making extensive changes in the second half - with nine substitutions between the two sides - neither team could find the net again, leaving Csikszereda to claim three crucial points in their fight to climb away from the lower reaches of the Superliga table.
