Jong Gent produced a stirring second-half comeback to claim three vital points against Patro Eisden Maasmechelen in the Challenger Pro League. After falling behind to Kéres Masangu's 19th-minute opener, the young Gent side struggled to break down a disciplined visiting defence for much of the contest. The turning point came when Ruslan Vydysh converted from the penalty spot with 14 minutes remaining, before Ibrahima Cissé struck the winner just six minutes later. Patro's task became even more difficult when Kjetil Borry received his marching orders for a second bookable offence, leaving them to defend their slender advantage with ten men in the closing stages.
