Club NXT U23 looked to have taken control of this Challenger Pro League encounter when Sem Audoor struck twice in seven first-half minutes to put the hosts 2-0 ahead by the 35th minute. However, SK Beveren showed tremendous resilience after the break, with Lennart Mertens emerging as the hero with a quickfire double that completely turned the match on its head. Mertens first pulled one back in the 53rd minute before completing his brace just 12 minutes later to secure a valuable point for the visitors. The draw extends both teams' recent inconsistent form in the league, with Beveren's spirited comeback highlighting their character despite their struggles this season.
