Emmanuel Dieseruvwe's clinical double proved the difference as Rochdale secured a valuable 2-1 victory over Forest Green Rovers at home. The striker set the tone early with a second-minute opener before Kyle McAllister's equalizer on the stroke of half-time threatened to derail Dale's momentum. However, Dieseruvwe's second goal eight minutes after the restart ultimately settled the contest, with both managers making wholesale changes in the final quarter as they looked to influence the outcome. The result lifts Rochdale's spirits after what appears to have been a challenging run of form, while Forest Green will rue their inability to build on McAllister's leveler having shown character to respond to that early setback.
