Rochdale delivered a commanding 3-0 victory over Woking at home, establishing control early and never relinquishing their grip on the match. The Dale took charge in the first half through Kyron Gordon's opener on 27 minutes, just three minutes after picking up a yellow card, before Emmanuel Dieseruvwe doubled the advantage eight minutes later. Dieseruvwe completed his brace from the penalty spot in the 74th minute to seal a comprehensive win that was punctuated by seven bookings across both sides. This dominant display will give Rochdale significant momentum in their National League campaign, while Woking will need to regroup quickly after a disappointing afternoon that saw their discipline questioned with multiple cards.
