York City
York City delivered a commanding performance at Glanford Park, dismantling Scunthorpe United with a clinical 3-0 victory that never looked in doubt after Josh Stones opened the scoring on 14 minutes. The visitors controlled proceedings throughout, with Stones grabbing a brace and Joe Grey adding a second-half goal to cap off a dominant display. Scunthorpe's frustration was evident as yellow cards mounted up, with the home side struggling to create any meaningful chances against a well-organized York defense. This emphatic win will significantly boost York's position in the National League table and represents a statement of intent as they look to build momentum in their promotion push.
