Braintree Town secured a thrilling 3-2 victory at Truro City thanks to Aidan Francis Clarke's dramatic late double. After John Akinde's early opener, the match became a rollercoaster affair with Frederick Issaka equalizing for Truro before Ben Drake's unfortunate own goal put the hosts ahead. Clarke emerged as the hero for Braintree, first leveling at 2-2 in the 80th minute before completing the turnaround with a winner in the 90th minute. The victory lifts Braintree's spirits after what appears to be an inconsistent run of form, while Truro will rue letting a lead slip in such devastating fashion with the match seemingly within their grasp.
