Maccabi Bnei Raina
Maccabi Bnei Raina claimed a crucial 1-0 victory at Hapoel Haifa through Antonio Sefer's late penalty, decided with just ten minutes remaining. The match was a cagey affair with both teams struggling to create clear chances, evidenced by five yellow cards and numerous tactical substitutions. Sefer, introduced in the 74th minute, made an immediate impact by winning and converting the decisive spot-kick after an incident in the penalty area. This result will be vital for Bnei Raina's league standing, while Hapoel Haifa will rue their inability to capitalize on home advantage in what proved to be a defensively-minded encounter that remained goalless until the crucial late intervention.
