Al Ahly salvaged a dramatic 1-1 draw against ZED FC in a match that epitomized their struggles this season. ZED FC stunned the hosts early through Mostafa Saad's 10th-minute opener and looked set for a famous victory until Mahmoud Trezeguet's last-gasp equalizer in the 89th minute. The Red Devils dominated possession after the break and made five substitutions in search of a leveler, with Trezeguet proving the catalyst after coming on at halftime. This result leaves Al Ahly further adrift in the title race, while the ill-disciplined finale saw seven yellow cards brandished in the final moments as frustrations boiled over.
