Monza•MidfielderFrosinone salvaged a crucial point in a thrilling encounter that saw them twice surrender the lead through resilience and determination. The visitors took an early advantage through Farès Ghedjemis before Hernani's equalizer settled Monza into the match. Andrea Petagna looked to have secured all three points for the hosts with a 73rd-minute strike, but their task became significantly harder when Ben Lhassine Kone was dismissed for a second bookable offense. Frosinone capitalized on their numerical advantage in the dying moments, with defender Ilario Monterisi popping up with a vital equalizer that keeps both teams firmly entrenched in mid-table mediocrity but provides momentum for the visitors.
Second-place Monza host league leaders Frosinone in a pivotal Serie B clash that could define the automatic promotion race. With just one point separating the teams, this top-of-the-table showdown promises to be a tactical battle between two sides in excellent form.
