Catanzaro•AttackerSüdtirol secured a vital 2-1 victory over Catanzaro in a thrilling encounter that showcased both teams' attacking intent in the opening phases. The match exploded into life within the first 21 minutes, with all three goals coming in a frantic start that saw Karim Zedadka open the scoring before Filippo Pittarello's quick equalizer for the visitors. Silvio Merkaj proved to be the match-winner with his 21st-minute strike, capitalizing on what appeared to be a period of sustained pressure from the hosts. Despite Catanzaro's efforts to find a leveler in the second half, Südtirol's defensive organization held firm, with goalkeeper Marius Adamonis earning a booking for time-wasting late on as the hosts successfully managed their slender advantage to claim three crucial points in their Serie B campaign.
