Outstanding performance
Juve Stabia•GoalkeeperVenezia dominated proceedings at home with a commanding 3-1 victory over Juve Stabia, controlling 69% possession and outshooting their opponents 19-12. After Andrea Giorgini's unfortunate own goal gave the hosts an early lead, a dramatic first-half stoppage time saw Lorenzo Carissoni equalize for the visitors before Andrea Adorante immediately restored Venezia's advantage. Adorante proved the difference-maker with what appears to be a brace, including the decisive third goal on 74 minutes that sealed the points. The win strengthens Venezia's promotion push in Serie B, while Juve Stabia's defensive frailties were exposed despite a spirited fightback attempt.
