Outstanding performance
Spezia•AttackerCarrarese dominated the early exchanges to secure a convincing 3-1 victory over Spezia in this Serie B encounter, despite being matched on possession and shots. The hosts struck twice in a devastating seven-minute spell through Nicolò Calabrese and Mattia Finotto to establish early control. Though Spezia briefly threatened a comeback when Mattia Valoti pulled one back early in the second half, Fabio Abiuso's 63rd-minute strike restored the two-goal cushion. The match descended into chaos in the final minutes with four red cards flying as tempers boiled over, highlighting the fierce nature of this regional rivalry and leaving both sides with disciplinary concerns heading into their next fixtures.
How entertaining was this match?
Mid-table Carrarese welcome relegation-battling Spezia in a heated local derby with revenge on their minds. After stunning Spezia 2-0 away earlier this season, the home side will look to complete the double against visitors desperate for points to climb out of the drop zone.
