Südtirol and Modena shared the spoils in a well-contested Serie B encounter that saw both sides create numerous opportunities but struggle with clinical finishing. Modena took an early lead through Simone Santoro's 21st-minute strike and looked to control proceedings with 53% possession, but Südtirol's response was emphatic. The hosts created significantly more big chances (6 to 1) and peppered the Modena goal with 18 shots, finally finding their breakthrough when Nicola Pietrangeli leveled the score on the hour mark. Despite Südtirol's superior attacking threat and five big chances missed, Modena's disciplined defensive display and four crucial saves from their goalkeeper ensured they left with a valuable point. The draw maintains both teams' mid-table positions as they continue their push for playoff contention.
