Mantova delivered a composed away performance to claim all three points at Spezia with a 2-0 victory that highlighted their superior ball retention and clinical finishing. The visitors controlled proceedings with 56% possession and a significantly better pass accuracy rate of 75% compared to Spezia's 66%, building their attacks patiently before striking through Davide Bragantini just after the half-hour mark. Spezia's frustrations boiled over with multiple bookings including Simone Trimboli's yellow for arguing, and despite creating an equal number of shots, they failed to capitalize on their two big chances while Mantova made theirs count. The game was sealed when substitute Nicolò Buso scored just one minute after being introduced, capping off a professional display that moves Mantova up the Serie B table while leaving Spezia to rue their wastefulness in front of goal.
