Pescara•DefenderA thrilling Serie B encounter saw Pescara twice take the lead only to be pegged back by a resilient Carrarese side. Despite controlling possession with 59% and completing 492 passes to Carrarese's 331, Pescara couldn't hold onto their advantage. The visitors struck early through Letizia's equalizer and Acampora's second-half goal, but their defensive lapses proved costly. Carrarese showed tremendous character, with Distefano's opener setting the tone before Bouah's crucial 84th-minute equalizer salvaged a point. The draw keeps both sides in mid-table, with Pescara's superior possession statistics highlighting their technical approach, while Carrarese's ability to create 36 dangerous attacks from limited ball possession demonstrated their direct, counter-attacking threat.
