Stellenbosch secured a crucial 1-0 victory over AmaZulu thanks to Ibraheem Jabaar's well-taken goal just past the half-hour mark. The home side controlled proceedings for large spells, with Jabaar proving to be the difference-maker before being involved in another key moment on 64 minutes that helped cement their advantage. AmaZulu's task became increasingly difficult as the match wore on, with Enyinnaya Kazie Godswill picking up a late booking for time-wasting as frustrations mounted. This result strengthens Stellenbosch's position in what appears to be a competitive title race, while AmaZulu will rue missed opportunities to get back into the contest despite making early changes at the interval.
